These days the knowledge of management is not sufficient. Every sector is dominated by the IT. Without the knowledge of IT, we are incomplete. So, if a student wants to know the knowledge of IT along with management. then BIM is the best course to study as an undergraduate program. Also students who are not sure whether they want to study management or IT can select BIM. In that case students can either choose IT as a career or management as a career after completing BIM. Most of the top managerial positions require both the knowledge of IT and Management. In that case BIM can be the right choice. It is a Four Year (8 Semester) study program.
Objectives of the course
BIM programme under the affiliation of TU aims to prepare IT professionals proficient in the use of computer and computational techniques in order to develop effective information systems to solve real life problems in the organizational environment. It besides; tries to develop the students skills in objects oriented software design methods and data management systems. It also targets to provide professional training to the students by camping information technology & managerial skills. It further prepares them to proceed on to post graduate level of study in information management within and outside the country.
